By accessing or using LowPDF (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Service Description
LowPDF provides free, browser-based PDF conversion tools, including PDF to JPG conversion. The Service is provided entirely free of charge. All file processing occurs client-side in your browser; no files are uploaded to our servers.
3. No Warranty — Service Provided "As-Is"
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, ACCURATE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. WE MAKE NO WARRANTY REGARDING THE QUALITY, ACCURACY, OR COMPLETENESS OF ANY CONVERSION OUTPUT. YOU USE THE SERVICE ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK.
4. User Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for the files you upload and process using the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:
- You own the files you process or have the legal right and authority to process them.
- Your use of the Service does not violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights, including intellectual property rights, privacy rights, and contractual obligations.
- You will not use the Service to process any files containing illegal, harmful, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable content.
5. Prohibited Content and Uses
You agree not to use the Service to process or distribute:
- Files that infringe on the intellectual property rights of any third party, including copyrighted works you do not have permission to reproduce.
- Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) or any content that sexually exploits or depicts minors. Such use will be reported to the appropriate law enforcement authorities immediately.
- Files containing malware, viruses, ransomware, or any other malicious code.
- Files that contain confidential government, military, or classified information without proper authorization.
- Any other content that violates applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations.
6. Advertising and Third-Party Offers
We reserve the right to display advertisements, sponsored content, and third-party promotional offers on the Service at any time and without prior notice. The inclusion of any advertisement or offer does not constitute an endorsement by us of the advertised product, service, or company. Your interactions with advertisers are solely between you and the advertiser.
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL PDFQUICK, ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED ZERO DOLLARS (US$0.00) GIVEN THAT THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE.
8. Termination and Access
We reserve the right, in our sole and absolute discretion, to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time and for any reason, including but not limited to your breach of these Terms, misuse of the Service, or violation of any applicable law, without notice and without liability to you.
9. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, layout, text, graphics, and code, is owned by LowPDF and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our express written permission.
10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the applicable jurisdiction, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration or in the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
11. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under any applicable law, such provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or severed if modification is not possible, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
